FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

At One22 Resource Center we know that the high cost of living makes meeting one’s basic needs difficult, or even impossible, during times of hardship. Our Financial Assistance programs can help with the costs of housing (rent and first/last/deposit assistance) and child care to build a buffer of time and support for planning and decision making.

Veteran callers are connected to local Service Officers that can inform veterans & family members about state and federal benefits. Service Officers assist with forms, claims and coordination, the Medals for Veterans Program, and the Incarcerated Veterans Program. Outreach is conducted throughout the state and territories.

Upon contact from potential clients, a determination is made regarding eligibility and then financial assistance is provided in the amount of $150 per household per year depending on the individuals situation for emergency needs such as utilities, rent, food, auto fuel, auto repair, lodging, and pharmaceuticals.

This initiative, funded by the Craig Newmark Philanthropies through the Bob Woodruff Foundation; Cindy and Dan Starks through the Wyoming Hunger Initiative: the Kuehne Foundation, Hughes Foundation and private donation aims to get funding, through grocery gift cards, into the hands of veterans with or without families.
Offering assistance to Laramie County residents with gas cards, food cards, toiletries, and hygiene items. Also offering assistance with various needs as able.
