Single-Parent Family Transitional Housing

Self-Sufficiency Program for single-parent families who are experiencing or are about to experience homelessness. Participants are provided with transitional housing and support services including Personal and Professional Development.

Transitional Living Program

We assist youth ages 16 to 24 who are homeless or facing homelessness. We provide life skills training, educational assistance services, housing assistance, financial education, and personal and emotional support. Each individual is assigned a case manager to assist them with their specific situation. We help runaway youth gain necessary skills and achieve their goals in order to become responsible, independent individuals in society.

Temporary Shelter for Homeless Families with Minor Children

Homeless families are housed in our shelter house. Families receive case management and support services to help them find housing, employment, and other services on a case by case basis.

Self-Sufficiency Transitional Housing

Our transitional housing consists of single-occupancy apartments that are offered to homeless or low income individuals, as well as larger apartments and/or homes, to assist low-income families. Both single occupancy and family housing opportunities include case management. They also provide affordable housing to low-to-moderate income families. These include case management. Veteran Housing Services

Working in partnership with the Cheyenne VA Medical Center, Veteran Housing Services provides short-term housing (up to 90 days) for homeless veterans as they work with case managers to secure permanent housing.

Support Services for Homeless Families

We provide temporary non-emergent shelter, case management, and direct support services to help families with children under 18 experiencing homelessness work toward independent living goals. We also provide homelessness prevention services like vital document recovery, utility and rent relief, and case management. We also operate a diaper & hygiene pantry that may also provide cleaning products and the Wyoming Kids Closet which provides clothes to any youth.

VOA Northern Rockies – Transitional Housing - Freedom Hall

Freedom Hall is an 11 bed men’s transitional housing facility for Veterans. Located in Sheridan, Wyoming for honorably discharged veterans. The facility operates 24 hours a day and includes a full kitchen, a laundry room, dining and living space which includes a TV area, computer & resource room, a conference room, an outside area with a horseshoe pit and picnic tables, and a creek runs along side the facility for fishing and nature walks
