This initiative, funded by the Craig Newmark Philanthropies through the Bob Woodruff Foundation; Cindy and Dan Starks through the Wyoming Hunger Initiative: the Kuehne Foundation, Hughes Foundation and private donation aims to get funding, through grocery gift cards, into the hands of veterans with or without families.

Our one hundred and seventeen bed facility provides the resident with more than just room and board it provides the resident with a community of caring people. There are 2-room suites for married couples and private rooms for single residents. Some residents have their own cars. If you do not have your own car there is plenty of transportation to and from VHW to get you where you need to go. All residents are free to come and go as they please.

The American Legion can assist veterans and service members with a 1 time only emergency financial assistance. This is only as funding permits. Offers Veterans, Active Duty Service Members and Reservists the opportunity to become members of The American Legion. DAV is a nonprofit charity that provides a lifetime of support for veterans of all generations and their families. DAV is also a leader in connecting veterans to employment, hosting job fairs and providing resources.

Services depend upon priority service areas, resources, meritorious claims, and policies and procedures. P&A conducts abuse, neglect, and exploitation investigations in state institutions and of community providers of services. Other service areas include employment accommodations; housing rights; and voting rights.
