The Wyoming Home Services (WyHS) program is used to provide services to those qualified individuals who are at risk of premature institutionalization. These services are designed to keep people in the least restrictive environment for as long as possible. We help people in our communities with daily living tasks (like cooking, housekeeping, showering, medication reminders, dressing, running errands, appointments, etc.) so everyone can live a longer, fuller life in their own home. We can also assist with home care following surgeries, provide respite care for family caregivers who need a break, or just provide an occasional drop-in service to ensure everything is going well.

Originally designated to serve the community’s senior population, in 2009 with construction of our new facility, services and amenities were incorporated to address the needs of the entire community. Now, the Center offers programs and services for residents of all ages; child day care, education, outreach, senior meals, in-home health services, and public-use space for meetings and events.

Their professional healthcare team includes nurses, social workers, physical, speech and occupational therapy, chaplains, bereavement counselors, home health aides and hospice volunteers. Provides case management, light housekeeping, linen change, laundry, respite care and CNA services. Services are based on income.

Village Caregiving of Cheyenne provides the elderly with compassionate home care services that enable them to retain their independence and remain in the comfort of their own homes. Village Caregiving provides assistance with bathing, eating, meal preparation, toileting, grooming, and other activities of daily living support. Additionally, Village Caregiving can provide support by lending a hand with light housekeeping, errand running, and transportation for appointments.

Offering respite services to allows the primary caregiver some much needed time away to recoup and reset.
