This program works to reduce the use and abuse of Underage Drinking, Adult Overconsumption, Tobacco, Other Drugs, and Suicide as well as educate our community about mental health issues. In order to reach this goal, prevention collaborates with the County Prevention Coalitions which is comprised of parents, youth, educators, law enforcement, health and mental health professionals, youth-serving organizations, local businesses, and many others who believe in the goal of a drug-free community.

Brain-based therapies including Brainspotting, EMDR and neurofeedback are offered at the Pines Counseling, LLC. Also provides services for a variety of needs including anxiety, depression, ADHD, grief and loss, couples, divorce reaction, parenting, abuse, complex trauma, DID, and PTSD.

Suicide Support Group, Facebook group and suicide awareness events

The Y has the longstanding relationships and physical presence not just to promise, but to deliver, lasting personal and social change. Though the world may be unpredictable, one thing remains certain – the Y is, and always will be, dedicated to building healthy, confident, connected and secure children, adults, families and communities.

Electronic Resources are available 24/7 on our website. We also have physical resources available at afsp.org/store. These can be purchased individually, or you can contact us to get the materials for free. Healing Conversations is a one-time visit that connects those who have lost a loved one to suicide with trained volunteers who are also survivors of suicide loss. This is to help recent survivors navigate this challenging journey by offering support, connection and resources.

Meets the 1st and 3rd Thursday of month from 6:30-8 p.m. Survivors coming together to support each other, to share feelings, ask questions and not be alone.
