YWCA has a 24 hour crisis line and shelter. Assistance with family violence and stalking protection orders, safely planning, support groups, accompaniment to hospital, law enforcement and court. YWCA provides child care tuition assistance to families who qualify.

Domestic Violence Advocacy and Support

Advocates provide immediate direct assistance in aiding victims in obtaining medical care, interacting with the criminal justice system, referrals to local services and legal support agencies, and in obtaining domestic violence and stalking protection orders. Links domestic violence victims to an advocate who provides information and support to callers, refers victims to shelter, and arranges or provides in-person support of victims at the hospital.

Those Veterans in need of services not available at a particular community outpatient clinic, like the Worland clinic, are either referred to the Sheridan VA Medical Center, another VA facility within the region, or are scheduled locally within the local community. Hours of operation (excluding holidays) are Monday through Wednesday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm; Thursday 8am-2:30pm; Closed Fridays.

Reasons for intake include; emergency care and shelter, respite or therapeutic breaks, and group home services.
