Materials including warning signs, what to do, and information about suicide. Information to spread awareness. Can be mailed directly to you.
Free program designed to advocate for individuals (and their family and friends) affected by mental illness and/or substance abuse and to improve their quality of life. The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Ombudsman specifically helps with substance abuse or mental health issues through information and referral, coaching, linking to services, education, and advocacy.

Give an Hour is a national nonprofit that provides barrier-free mental health counseling. We are able to do this incredible work because of our network of mental health professionals across the nation who volunteer one hour per week for one year to those who qualify for our services.

SPAT (Youth Empowerment Council sub-committee) is a group of youth volunteers who present to various audiences and spread awareness by educating their peers on the warning signs, risk factors, and protective factors associated with suicide. SPAT also serves county wide with Natrona County Suicide Prevention Task Force. Since Wyoming has one of the highest suicide rates among teens, this is an important topic to inform youth and adults.
Electronic Resources are available 24/7 on our website. Find resources for suicide prevention for you or someone you know. We also provide additional resources supporting diverse communities, the LGBTQ community, and the military as well. We also have physical resources available at afsp.org/store. These can be purchased individually, or you can contact us to get the materials for free.
