Description
The Treasurer is the Collector of property tax, sales tax, on motor vehicles, motor vehicle registration fees, and monies from other local, state, and federal sources. The Treasurer is responsible for maintaining an accurate account of all receipts and expenditures of the county, the tax sale and redemption process, as well as disbursement of funds to schools, libraries, towns, and other entities within the county and state.
