WYOMING CONGRESSIONAL AWARD COUNCIL
The Congressional Award (gold, silver and bronze medals) can be earned by ANY YOUNG PERSON age 14-24. There is no GPA requirement, and accommodations will be made when needed. Develop self-confidence and community engagement by logging hours in voluntary public service, physical fitness, personal development and exploration. Participants need a trusted adult as an advisor. WCAC staff can train/assist all advisors, parents and participants with questions. For more info see congressionalaward.org.

WCAC supports youth in Wyoming as they pursue the Congressional Award by being their direct contact and helping them connect to other organizations for volunteering. WCAC provides a scholarship and helps offset the cost to Washington DC for all Wyoming youth who earn a Gold Medal. Youth from ages 13.5 - 23 may EARN the Congressional Award by completing hours toward their goals in four areas: Voluntary Public Service, Personal Development, Physical Fitness and Exploration/Expedition.
