MENTAL HEALTH FIRST AID (MHFA)
Mental Health First Aid is for professionals, caregivers, and any community leaders who support families. Learn how to identify, understand, respond to signs of mental health struggles/substance use disorders. Learn the skills you need to reach out and provide initial support to someone who may be developing a mental health problem. There are two types of trainings, one that focuses on assisting adults, and one that focuses on assisting youth.

Mercer Family Resource Center provides education, counseling, and prevention services that build stronger and healthier youth and families in our community. We serve the community in the following ways: family/parenting education; early intervention for alcohol use and life skills; community connection, such as mentoring and case management; and environmental strategies for policy change and social norming.
