NCPC recognizes a concern of substance abuse and misuse in our community. They work together to address these concerns and prevent substance abuse by promoting healthy and positive choices. NCPC subcommittees include: Family and Parenting, Community Prevention Strategies Group, 21st CCLC afterschool programs, and Youth Leadership and pro-social activities.
MERCER FAMILY RESOURCE CENTER
Mercer Family Resource Center provides education, counseling, and prevention services that build stronger and healthier youth and families in our community. We serve the community in the following ways: family/parenting education; early intervention for alcohol use and life skills; community connection, such as mentoring and case management; and environmental strategies for policy change and social norming.
