PEOPLE FOR PEOPLE BACKPACK PROGRAM

Enough food for an entire weekend is provided to students, preschool - High School. Students within the Hot Springs County School District that qualify for the Free / Reduced lunch program quality for this program. Students that are Home Schooled or Attend the Alternative School do not need to qualify. Simply ask to receive this food.
The Community Cupboard provides prepackaged boxes of food to local residence needing assistance with food once per week. They cannot deliver

It takes courage to ask for help. We distribute food through our partner agencies and off-site direct service programs. We know life sometimes hands people challenges. Food Bank of Wyoming believes food is a must. No one in Wyoming should go hungry. We have programs and/or partner agencies in every county in Wyoming. Please reach out to find help near you. Please note: Food Bank of Wyoming DOES NOT distribute food directly to the public from our warehouse.

Sack lunch distribution.
Works with Laramie County School District 1 and 2 to supply bags of nutritious, non-perishable food each Friday when school is in session to children K-12 who qualify for the schools' free or reduced meal program. To request a Food Bag, please contact your school social worker at 307-771-2174 (LCSD1) or 307-245-4055 (LCSD2).
Food bags are sent home weekly for children in need.
Bags distributed directly to children suffering from food insecurity and hunger.
Local volunteers pack bags of food and distribute them weekly to local children in need. Bags contain food for breakfast and dinner. To eliminate the stigma of receiving a food bag, The Food Group has established relationships with local schools so that only the children receiving bags and school personnel know about the need.
