The Shoshoni Senior Center offers meals and services for senior citizens. Those age 60 and older can register, but all ages are welcome to join us as a guest for meals and activities. We offer transportation, activities, exercise equipment, a lending library, coffee, public-use computers, and other services. The Senior Center is a community gathering place and also offers visitor information.

Rendezvous Pointe offers Meals and Nutrition. Other services include minor home modification, temporary respite, and assistance with emergency. Beyond the In-Home services, Rendezvous Pointe offers a lending closet for anyone in temporary need whether due to an accident, surgery or other infirmity. Among other items, the Closet includes walkers, canes, crutches, shower and bath benches, pill boxes, toilet seat risers, wheel chairs, electric wheelchairs, and wheelchair ramps.

All buses are lift-equipped, making them accessible for people who use a mobility device or cannot climb stairs. The Weston County Senior Citizen Center is here to offer a variety of services and activities for the local seniors. Our hours of operation are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM Monday through Friday. STAR provides public transportation in Sweetwater County. STAR provides door-to-door service as well as stop-to-stop service by appointment with 24 hours notice and may also provide same-day service, depending on availability. Door-to-door rides are $2.00 and stop to stop rides are $1.00. Seniors over 60 ride for free. STAR also provides transportation between Rock Springs and Green River, but only at designated times during the day

Goose Creek Transit provides door-to-destination public transportation services. All people of all ages are invited to use this friendly service to get around Sheridan County seven days a week. Lander Senior Citizens Center

Hot nutritious meals served M-F 11:30a-1p at the center for those who are able and delivered for homebound individuals (we have frozen meals, if needed). We also offer homemaking services; bingo on Saturday nights is available to anyone 18 or older; Social Security Kiosk Friday 1p-2:30p, Medicare questions; application assistance for programs such as LIEAP & WY Elderly & Disabled Sales Tax Rebate; public transportation, library, health & nutrition education, and much, much, more!

WRTA provides fixed-route and demand-response public transportation in Fremont County. Fixed routes run weekdays with designated stops for work, shopping, and medical access. Curb-to-curb demand-response is available by reservation. WRTA’s SafeRide Program offers late-night transportation to reduce impaired driving. All services are ADA-compliant, with wheelchair lifts and trained drivers. Riders can use Token Transit for digital fare collection.

Riverton Public Transportation Service (RPTS) is a curb-to-curb transit service for folks in the Riverton area. RPTS provides services to the general public or anyone 18 years of age or older. All our buses are equipped with either a lift or a ramp. To schedule a ride, please call our Dispatch Department at 307-856-3546. We do suggest a 24-hour notice

The Meeteetse Recreation District takes pride in being able to provide transportation for members of our community; whether it be for groceries, household supplies, or medical treatment. We make a weekly trip to Cody on Thursdays. Please schedule your trip with the Senior Center (868-2622) or the Rec (899-2698) by Wednesday if you need a ride.
