Teton County Victim Services works with all victims of crime in Teton County. They provide comprehensive services to educate, empower, and advocate for crime victims. They inform victims of their rights, provide referrals to other resources, ensure a victim is kept informed and have a voice in the criminal justice system. Victim advocates provide victims with assistance in petitioning for civil protection orders and related civil court proceedings. Advocates are available 24 hours a day.
The Laramie County Sheriff's Office in partnership with the community is dedicated to providing ethical and professional services that promote and protect the well-being, safety and security of all people in the county; and to operating a safe constitutional jail system. Teton County and Prosecuting Attorney
We are a 24 hours crisis intervention program, assisting victims of crime with essential information and protection services. We will assist victims with emergency shelter and housing, referral to community agencies that can offer assistance and provide victims information to help cover monetary expenses obtained due to a criminal act, to include medical, counseling and even funeral expenses. We can assist victims with protection orders as well.
The duties of the County Attorney’s Office include: Representation of the State of Wyoming in all criminal proceedings before the circuit, district, and juvenile court Initiating civil proceedings for neglect, delinquent children and children in need of supervision in the juvenile court Initiating involuntary commitment proceedings for mentally ill individuals Providing legal advise to all county entities regarding civil matters
The Eastern Shoshone Victim Services Program (ESVSP) is a free resource for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault who need assistance.

Provides all victims with an understanding of the criminal justice system and their rights as victims, and to ensure all victims have consistent treatment and equal access to competent services.
Fremont County Attorney - Riverton office
DVS administers the Wyoming Crime Victim Compensation Program (WCVCP) that provides financial assistance to hundreds of victims each year. Benefits are awarded for out-of-pocket expenses, medical expenses, lost wages, and counseling costs related to emotional and physical injury suffered by the victim and the victims family as a direct result of a crime. The program does not compensate victims for damaged or stolen property.
