The Early Intervention and Education Program provides services for infants and toddlers include multiple areas, but some examples are family service coordination (Case management), speech and language services, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and services for children who are deaf/hard of hearing. Preschool special education services are numerous, but some examples are specialized instruction, therapy services, and behavioral supports.
Wyoming Child and Family Development Douglas Center offers FREE services for qualifying children birth to 5 and pregnant women/teens. We are also the local Child Development Center and provide FREE services to children that may need additional help.

The program is free to income eligible families with children ages 3 and 4 years of age .Head Start offers the following services: preschool education, child health (physical, dental and mental health) and development, nutrition, social and emotional development and parent, family, and community engagement.
Head Start provides a free, early intervention program to low-income, at-risk children, 3-5 years of age and their families. Each child receives a developmental, hearing, vision, and health screening. Our program provides activities that address the child’s cognitive, physical, social, and emotional development to help prepare the child for success in school and in life.

Act Early Wyoming helps parents, health care professionals, and child care providers learn about healthy developmental milestones. Enhanced awareness of the developmental milestones leads to more timely assessments, earlier diagnosis, and referrals for early intervention.
