Wyoming Hearing Aid Program

The Wyoming Adult Hearing Aid Program covers up to one hearing aid per ear, a hearing aid fitting, and an initial set of ear molds. These services are only covered when provided by an enrolled Wyoming Medicaid provider. Eligible Applicants must be over 18, WY resident, Below 200% of the Federal Poverty Line, have significant hearing loss, and have no other hearing aid coverage. If there is other hearing aid coverage, out-of-pocket costs must exceed $500 in order to be considered for this program

Speech and Hearing Clinic

The Clinic is open to the public. A sliding fee scale is available for speech services based on financial need and UW student status. The Clinic is open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.,. Hearing services are available year-round. Speech services follow the University's academic calendar.

Affordable Hearing Aid Helpline

Wyoming residents having trouble affording hearing aids may call to speak to a counselor about programs to find low-cost quality hearing aids. A free hearing test can be conducted over the phone, and counselors may include resources such as donated or reconditioned hearing aids, where available.
