Besides services in the clinic, additional care options are available at the Sheridan VA Medical Center, other VA facilities, and through extensive telehealth options. Veterans may also be eligible for care in the local community.

Those Veterans in need of services not available at a particular VA clinic are either referred to the Sheridan VA Medical Center, another VA facility within the region, or are scheduled locally for fee basis care within the local community. For emergency care, all Sheridan VA clinics activate the local 911 system and veterans are taken to the local emergency medical facility.

This is a great choice when you can't get in to see your regular doctor or if you are traveling. You can walk in without an appointment and see a health professional that day.
When it is not a life-threatening emergency, but the Veteran wants prompt medical care, Veterans can go to Veterans Express Care.
