Cody is our largest therapy clinic in regards to the therapy staff and has some great amenities found only at our Cody facility. Underwater treadmills, endless therapy pool, and an Functional Electronic System for the rehabilitation of paraplegic and quadriplegic patients. This system is one of only a few operating in the region. Gottsche acquired the Cody clinic in 2010 and is happy to expand into Park County and offer premier therapy and wellness services.

Rehabilitation and skilled nursing care communities, also called nursing homes, provide short or long term care, 24-hours a day. These facilities care for people who cannot take care of themselves because of physical, emotional or mental conditions. Skilled nursing communities also provide physical, occupational and speech therapy services to help residents regain as much independence as possible.

Pediatric Therapy Services

Our new facility offers 4 private therapy rooms for our physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and massage therapy clients.

We are a 12-bed Critical Access Hospital. The emergency department of Weston County Health Services is dedicated to providing excellence in patient care. Our emergency department is staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our staff are trained providers of advanced cardiac life support, pediatric advanced life support, and basic trauma life support. Other services we provide include Laboratory, Radiology, Therapy Services, Skilled Home Health and 58-bed Long Term Care.

Offering home healthcare.

Located within the lobby of the main hospital building, Big Country Rehabilitation offers outpatient, physical and occupational therapy services as well convenient physical and occupational therapy inpatient services through our hospital. We also provide services to our nursing home and many of our school districts. We also have the first driving program in the State of Wyoming.

Occupational therapy practitioners have a holistic perspective, in which the focus is on adapting the environment and/or task to fit the person, and the person is an integral part of the therapy team. It is an evidence-based practice deeply rooted in science. At JHTR, the licensed Occupational Therapist utilizes the movement of the horse to achieve functional goals. Benefits include improved ambulation, balance, range of motion, communication, fine and gross motor skills.
