Certified by the American Diabetes Association, JCHC’s Diabetes Self-Management Education program (DSME) teaches you how to manage diabetes more effectively through blood sugar monitoring, healthy nutrition, exercise, medications, and how to manage stress. Programs like this have been shown to reduce A1c levels, prevent or reduce diabetes complications, improve quality of life, and lower medical expenses.
