Sheridan VAMC has been a mental health care and primary care facility for men and women who have served their country. The Medical Center boasts eight Community Based Outpatient Clinics, located strategically across Wyoming. Each clinic, along with the Medical Center, is staffed to provide a wide range of health and mental health services.

Our hospital provides primary care and specialty health services, including mental health, nutrition, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), traumatic brain injury (TBI), spinal cord injuries, and more. Since 1934, Cheyenne VAMC has been improving the health of the men and women who have so proudly served our nation. We consider it our privilege to serve your health care needs in any way we can. Services are available to approximately 68,000 veterans living in the tri-state area of southeastern Wyoming, northeastern Colorado and southwestern Nebraska.

Every veteran who receives any discharge, other than dishonorable, from the U.S. armed forces is eligible for burial at the Oregon Trail State Veterans Cemetery. Burial plots will be assigned on a first come, first served basis as the need arises. There will be no charge made for any burial plot. The cemetery will provide a grave vault at no charge for casket interments.
