The UW Early Care and Education Center is a state of the art facility serving families of the University of Wyoming as well as the Laramie community. Administered by the Department of Family and Consumer Sciences in the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources, it is also works in partnership with the College of Education.
Providing a comprehensive, quality preschool program serving Western Wyoming Community College students, staff, and faculty.
Our program funding includes Head Start, Early Head Start, TANF Preschool (Discovery Preschool), and Developmental Disability Services birth to five.

The YWCA has a shelter and provides comprehensive advocacy services for victims of domestic violence, sexual assault / abuse, human trafficking, and stalking through the immediate crisis, medical, legal and social service involvement. YWCA has a 24 hour crisis line and shelter. Assistance with family violence and stalking protection orders, safely planning, support groups, accompaniment to hospital, law enforcement and court. YWCA provides child care tuition assistance to families who qualify.

Childcare services for youth from 1.5 month to 5 years. Preschool available.
Educational preschool and childcare program for college students and employees. Serve children birth to age 6. All lead teachers have degrees.

The Children’s Discovery Center offers an accredited, comprehensive early childhood education program that serves the needs of children and families of students, faculty and the community. The center offers full-time for children from infancy to kindergarten and part-time preschool program for children ages 3.5-5. The center also offers a summer program for school age children.
