The YWCA has a shelter and provides comprehensive advocacy services for victims of domestic violence, sexual assault / abuse, human trafficking, and stalking through the immediate crisis, medical, legal and social service involvement. YWCA has a 24 hour crisis line and shelter. Assistance with family violence and stalking protection orders, safely planning, support groups, accompaniment to hospital, law enforcement and court. YWCA provides child care tuition assistance to families who qualify.

CRISIS STABILIZATION - SERENITY PLACE

Serenity Place is a crisis stabilization facility in Cheyenne, Wyoming where individuals in need of strong support can find assistance. Our main goal at Serenity Place is to help clients get out of crisis and begin to work with case managers towards long-term stability. Serenity Place is often the entry point into our continuum of care, and we work with clients from the point of crisis towards a point where they are living with their diagnosis.

The National Human Trafficking Hotline connects victims and survivors of sex and labor trafficking with services and supports to get help and stay safe. Personal, court, medical and social service advocacy for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. Assistance with filing protection orders and provide orientation to court procedures and attend hearings with victims as needed. Provide assistance with filing for crime victims compensation claims. Support groups for victims in Lander and Riverton. Education, outreach and training for any school, group, organization or agency upon request.
