Our continuum of care covers a wide variety of behavioral health services, from group therapy to psychosocial rehabilitation, which aims to help clients with serious and persistent mental illness find meaningful employment or community activities with a focus on independent living skills.

24 Hour Emergency Crisis Shelter for children from infancy to 17. The Youth Crisis Center provides short-term emergency services to abused, neglected and homeless youth from the Casper, Wyoming area. Crisis intervention services include shelter, referral, counseling, and an alternative to jail. The crisis center transports children to and from school in an effort to minimize the child's trauma and maintain continuity in their education.

Community Safety Network is an organization providing supports for those affected by interpersonal violence. We fill a serious community need; law enforcement considers domestic and sexual violence to be the most underreported and stigmatized crimes in our isolated mountain town.

During office hours walk ins are welcome or you may call our business number to make an appointment. In addition, we sponsor a 24-hour crisis information line which is answered by volunteer victim advocates. If you have an after-hours emergency staff members are on call to assist with emergency shelter, forensic exams, criminal justice support, or other situations as needed.

Outpatient mental health and substance use disorder treatment services. Services can include individual, family, couple or group therapies, psychiatric medication management, supported employment or case management.

SAFE Project provides free, non-discriminatory and confidential services to survivors of stalking, intimate partner, family and sexual violence. Our services include a 24 hour hotline, emergency shelter, emergency food, clothes and toiletries, cell phones, emergency transportation, and so much more.

Stepping Stones is an 8-bed facility serving primarily Carbon County. Crisis placement beds are for youth who are out of control at home, possible substance abuse issues, struggling with school or referred by child protective services. Stepping Stones also serves as a runaway/homeless youth shelter. Long term placements tend to be court ordered. Youth who are ordered long term may have specific behaviors they need to work on or they are awaiting a different level of care.

The SAFV Task Force is a victim advocacy program that provides protection, assistance, and support to the victims of domestic violence, sexual assault and stalking.

The Boys Town National Hotline is a nationwide, 24 hour Hotline providing crisis intervention and short-term counseling to children, teens, and parents who are needing support and guidance. The YWCA has a shelter and provides advocacy services for victims of domestic violence, sexual assault / abuse, human trafficking, and stalking through the immediate crisis, medical, legal and social service involvement. YWCA has a 24 hour crisis line and shelter. Assistance with family violence and stalking protection orders, safely planning, support groups, accompaniment to hospital, law enforcement and court. YWCA provides child care tuition assistance to families who qualify.

Serenity Place South is a crisis stabilization facility in Cheyenne, Wyoming where individuals in need of strong support can find assistance. Our main goal at Serenity Place is to help clients get out of crisis and begin to work with case managers towards long-term stability. Serenity Place is often the entry point into our continuum of care, and we work with clients from the point of crisis towards a point where they are living with their diagnosis.

Services for victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, incest and child abuse. Services include two 24-hour crisis lines, emergency shelter for victims, emergency transportation for victims, support and advocacy, referrals, assistance filing Family Violence Protection Orders, Stalking Orders and Crime Victims Compensation Claim Forms, Civil Legal Advocacy, options and referrals, support groups and community education. All services are free and confidential.

Wyoming Behavioral Institute is an 81-bed acute care psychiatric hospital in Casper providing inpatient care for children 5 and older, adolescents, adults, and seniors. Psychiatric residential treatment is available for girls ages 10 to 17. Outpatient psychiatry is available for children, adolescents, and adults. Telehealth intensive outpatient treatment is offered for youth ages 14 to 17. Outpatient telehealth individual therapy for youth, and their families.

Suicide prevention and crisis intervention service available to anyone in suicidal crisis or emotional distress. Callers to the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline are routed to the nearest accredited crisis center in the caller's area. 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline calls are answered by staff at over 200 accredited crisis centers across the United States who provide callers with crisis counseling and mental health referrals.
