Stepping Stones is an 8-bed facility serving primarily Carbon County. Crisis placement beds are for youth who are out of control at home, possible substance abuse issues, struggling with school or referred by child protective services. Stepping Stones also serves as a runaway/homeless youth shelter. Long term placements tend to be court ordered. Youth who are ordered long term may have specific behaviors they need to work on or they are awaiting a different level of care.

Chat options are also available through the website.
For individuals struggling with their mental health, these services can have a huge impact on day-to-day life. Our continuum of care covers a wide variety of mental health services, from group therapy to psychosocial rehabilitation, which aims to help clients with serious and persistent mental illness find meaningful employment or community activities with a focus on independent living skills. We work with male and female victims and their children. - We provide 24 hours, seven days a week HelpLine - 24 hour shelter for victims - Financial emergency assistance (such as food, rent, rental deposit, utilities, gasoline, or any other needs) - Personal hygiene items, any baby items and gently used furniture These are all case by case basis for assistance.

We provide services to all individuals in their homes, assisted living facilities, nursing facilities, homeless shelter, independent living facilities and any other community agency. We provide assistance with Medicare, Medicaid, SS, Disability, Insurance, advocacy, support, mental health treatment, coordination of care, Medicaid Waiver case management, transportation, check-in visits, mental health assessments, capacity, and more.

TRANSGENDER CRISIS & RESOURCE LINE

Provides assistance and resources to transgender individuals experiencing a crisis. Also provides support to individuals who may be struggling with their gender identity and are unsure of transgender status. Trans Lifeline is staffed by volunteers who are trans identified and educated in the range of difficulties transgender people experience and dedicated to improving the lives of transgender people. Additionally, operators will only call emergency services with the caller's expressed consent.

DOMESTIC VIOLENCE ADVOCACY AND SUPPORT

Advocates provide immediate direct assistance in aiding victims in obtaining medical care, interacting with the criminal justice system, referrals to local services and legal support agencies, and in obtaining domestic violence and stalking protection orders. Links domestic violence victims to an advocate who provides information and support to callers, refers victims to shelter, and arranges or provides in-person support of victims at the hospital.
