The Veterans Integration to Academic Leadership initiative or VITAL program is committed to aiding student Veterans in adjusting to the academic setting, helping Veterans to overcome obstacles that might impede academic success, and supporting Veterans in completing their educational goals.

For your convenience, appointments are available both in person and via telehealth.

Veterans in need of services not available at this clinic are referred to the Sheridan VA Medical Center, another regional VA facility, or are scheduled within the local community. Calls made to outside Behavioral Health Services of operating hours will divert directly to voicemail. If you are having any thoughts of harming yourself, please go to the nearest Emergency Room immediately. If you are unable to drive yourself, please call 9-1-1 so that an ambulance can assist you in getting to the Emergency Room.

Both primary medical and mental health services are available at the Cody VA Clinic. Those Veterans in need of services not available at a particular community outpatient clinic, like the Cody clinic, are either referred to the Sheridan VA Medical Center, another VA facility within the region, or are scheduled locally within the local community. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, excluding holidays.

Besides services in the clinic, additional care options are available at the Sheridan VA Medical Center, other VA facilities, and through extensive telehealth options. Veterans may also be eligible for care in the local community.
