Platte Paratransit is a nonprofit organization in Platte County, Wyoming, serving Wheatland, Guernsey, and Chugwater. We provide transportation to medical appointments for people who are elderly, disabled, and otherwise unable to travel. Getting to dialysis in Cheyenne, chemotherapy in Douglas, and orthopedic care in Laramie are just some of the needs we've helped to fill.

Home Delivered Meals

This program provides nutritious, well balanced meals for individuals 60 and over who are homebound and can benefit from a daily meal. We also provide meals to individuals with disabilities and work with the Medicaid Waiver program. A hot meal is delivered Monday through Friday by a group volunteer drivers and frozen meals are available for weekends and holidays upon request.

The Congressional Award (gold, silver and bronze medals) can be earned by ANY YOUNG PERSON age 14-24. There is no GPA requirement, and accommodations will be made when needed. Develop self-confidence and community engagement by logging hours in voluntary public service, physical fitness, personal development and exploration. Participants need a trusted adult as an advisor.
